Kalen Baker Super epic, grandiose and cinematic neoclassical. Watched this artist at North East Dungeon Siege and he put on the best visual performance. This stuff is dark, intense and heavy. Even more so than some raw black metal IMO. Favorite track: 𝕻𝖆𝖚𝖑𝖉𝖗𝖔𝖓𝖘 𝖔𝖋 𝖂𝖔𝖊.
FLESH MECHANIC
FLESH MECHANIC thumbnail
FLESH MECHANIC Every new DRONN album adds more and more layers of sound to truly capture the atmosphere of the dark ages, and so far, this is hands down the best one yet. It feels like the sounds are echoing through candlelit hallways of a gothic cathedral, across an abandoned cemetery and bouncing off trees in a medieval forest that hides a deserted village, like some unseen lurking evil is traversing those lands. Darkness, dread and cinematic ambience dominate this record. Favorite track: 𝖃𝖞𝖗'𝖘 𝕳𝖔𝖗𝖗𝖔𝖗.
